The modular town, assembled by the specialists of “E S U” LLC in Poltava, is ready to receive its residents

On June 2, 2023, a press tour for journalists was held in Poltava regarding the demonstration of the completed modular town for temporarily displaced persons, assembled by the specialists of the “E S U” company. The event was organized by the Poltava Regional Military Administration.

A modular town for internally displaced people was built on the territory of one of the regional medical institutions. The town consists of 240 modules, combined into 6 boxes, 40 in each. In each box there are 18 residential modules and female/male showers, female/male toilets, a children’s room, a kitchen equipped with electric stoves with four burners. For the winter period, heaters will be supplied to any room. In case of a power outage, the modular town has four powerful generators.

Since Poltava region was not the first region where such towns were created, practical experience of other regions was taken into account during its arrangement. In addition, two laundries were equipped in the modular town.

Each box has Wi-Fi and three video cameras. In order to create a comfortable environment, air conditioners are installed in the corridors of buildings, which provide coolness in the summer.

For the comfort of residents with reduced mobility, convenient ramps have been installed.

Also, on the territory of the modular town, two playgrounds for children of different ages, one sports ground, and four gazebos for recreation were arranged.

The implementation of the project took place thanks to the initiative of the Government of Poland and the International Solidarity Fund to provide modular houses for placement on the territory of those regions that received the largest number of temporary migrants.
“E S U” LLC is an official partner of the Polish modular house manufacturer “MODULAR SYSTEM SP. Z O.O.”, performs construction and installation work on the installation of modular towns throughout the territory of Ukraine.
